A temperature transmitter is an instrument that converts temperature variables into a transmittable, standardized output signal. It utilizes thermocouples or thermal resistors as temperature-sensing elements; the signals from these elements are fed into the transmitter module, where they undergo processing—including voltage regulation and filtering, operational amplification, non-linear correction, V/I conversion, constant current regulation, and reverse polarity protection—to be converted into a 4–20 mA current signal, a 0–5 V/0–10 V voltage signal, or an RS485 digital signal that is linearly proportional to the temperature.
