Cast Steel Angle Type Bellow Seal Globe Valve

I. Product Overview

Cast Steel Angle Type Bellow Seal Globe Valve is an industrial valve designed to control the flow of media within pipelines, as well as to start or stop the flow. It is primarily used in sectors such as petroleum, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and power generation, handling media including steam, gases, and liquids. The valve functions to shut off or allow the flow of media; it operates within a temperature range of -29°C to 425°C, supports pressure ratings from PN 1.6 to 40.0 MPa, and is available in nominal diameters (DN) ranging from 15 to 600.
The valve utilizes bellows-sealing technology: a metal bellows is welded to the valve stem to create an isolation barrier, which—combined with a secondary packing seal-forms a dual-sealing structure that ensures zero leakage at the valve stem. The valve body is constructed from materials such as cast steel or stainless steel. The sealing surfaces are hard-faced with a cobalt-based alloy and polished, while the valve stem undergoes a nitriding process to enhance its wear and corrosion resistance. Certain models feature a pressure-balanced design to reduce operating torque; "quick-opening" versions allow for full opening or closing within a 180-degree turn, and adjustable versions support a 50:1 flow control ratio. The products comply with national standards such as GB/T 13927 and GB 12235, making them suitable for demanding operating conditions involving high-purity, toxic, or flammable/explosive media.

II. Key Attribute Parameters

1. Dual-sealing design (bellows plus packing): if the bellows fails, the valve stem packing prevents leakage.
2. Rational structure, reliable sealing, excellent performance, and an aesthetically pleasing design.
3. Eliminates fluid loss, reduces energy waste, and enhances the safety of plant equipment.
4. Sealing surfaces are hard-faced with a cobalt-based alloy, offering superior wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and friction resistance; this extends service life, reduces the frequency of maintenance, and lowers operating costs.
5. Robust and durable bellows-sealing design ensures zero stem leakage and provides a maintenance-free solution.
6. The valve stem undergoes quenching and tempering, followed by surface nitriding, resulting in excellent corrosion and friction resistance.
7. The position of the valve stem (raised or lowered) provides a clear, intuitive visual indication of the valve's status.
